George "Harvie" Burpo seems to have only pitched in 2 games for a total of 2.3 innings for his major league experience walking five. Talk about a short career!

Sammy Byrd 1935-36 OF
Sammy Byrd earned the nickname "Babe Ruth's Legs" or "Babe Ruth's Caddy" as he often replaced Ruth as a pinch runner late in the Babe's career. He later became a professional golfer who won 23 pro events. The first and last images above have me confused. They don't look like the same person and they have different uniforms, but I have seen images on the internet that resemble both. The autograph appears legitimate.

The Chester Carmichael (and Leo Dixon card below) do not look like they do because of a bad scan, that is the way the cards look. Carmichael apparently only pitched 2 games for the Reds in 1909 and that was the end of his Major League career for some reason.

Hal Chase
1916-18 1B/OF
Hal Chase was known as one of the most crooked baseball players of all time. Reds owner Garry Herrmann tried to get him kicked out of organized baseball. He was also a basketball player who barnstormed during the winter with his Hal Chase's All Star Five.

Hank Eisenhart only pitched 1/3 of an inning in the major leagues. That came with two outs in the ninth inning of a game in which the Reds were losing 18 - 0. The person he relieved was 15 year old Joe Nuxhall. After walking the first batter he faced he got the opposing pitcher to pop up for the final out.
